Well sure some companies pay you well and give you stability. But if you want true freedom, like taking leave without asking for permission, buying the things you want, travelling the world, and working on your dreams, then you will need to escape the 9–5 grind.

But how do you do this?

The safest way to do this, which is the same strategy that I used, is to start a side hustle.

A side hustle manages your risk, by ensuring you still earn a steady income while working on your business on the side.

I know it will mean working in the early mornings or late nights, but the best part is that it won’t feel like work, because you are doing it for yourself.

I honestly hated the idea for making someone else rich and when I started building my business I found it hard to stop as I was for the first time enjoying what I was doing.

What was my side hustle?

I loved tech, and when AI came about, I started learning more about and then teaching it. In more recent years, I started building and using AI tools to help improve my efficiency in course creation as well as in my business.

It took me 2 years to build my side hustle up to state where I could now replace my main income while also having a buffer saved to potentially sustain me for the next 24 months.
